Good evening! I am finally getting back to blog posts. I apologize for missing the past couple weeks.
Tuesday we will be taking the NWEA Math test. The kiddos are allowed to bring gum to chew while they are taking their test.
Reading: In reading, we will be continuing Unit 3 Week 4: How can words bring change? We will be exploring this idea by reading Abe's Honest Words. We will be looking at what Abraham Lincoln said to bring about change. The skill we are working on is the author's point of view or the author's opinion.
Math: In math, we will take some time to finish up our chapter 4 tests on division. Next, we will be moving on to equivalent fractions. We will be using a combination of Go Math, math journals, and other outside resources to ensure we have a good understanding.
Montana History: We are exploring the state symbols. We will be taking a closer look at the state gemstone, the agate.
Social Studies: We will be taking a "visit" to Plymouth, Massachusetts. We will take a look at the pilgrims plan to reach Virginia and how they steered a little off course.
