Good evening everyone! I hope you enjoyed the long weekend. We have another four day week ahead of us.
Reading: In reading, we are focusing on how inventions and technology affect our lives. The skills and strategies we will be focusing on are predictions and point of view.
Reading Boost: In Reading Boost, we are working on narrative writing for an assessment piece for our report cards. We started today and will finish up on Thursday.
Math: In math today we reviewed comparing and ordering fractions and creating equivalent fractions. After today, I feel that we are reading to take the assessment tomorrow. On Friday, we will start adding and subtracting fractions with like denominators.
Social Studies: In social studies, we took a visit to Hershey, Pennsylvania. We took a look at the factory and learned why there are so many factories in the Northeastern part of the United States.
Montana History: In Montana History, we reviewed the state symbols we have learned and completed a crossword puzzle based on these symbols.
February Dates:
February 14: Valentine's Day Party at 2-3 (a class list will be sent out through Fresh Schools)
February 15: Box Tops DUE!
