Good morning everyone!
We are finally back to a normal schedule this week.
Reading: In reading our focus is how can you make new friends feel welcomed? We will be reading various texts centered around this question. As we read we will be focusing on visualizing and point of view (of the story and the opinion of the author).
Math: In math, we will be reviewing chapter 5 on factors, multiples, and prime and composite numbers. On Tuesday, we will be taking our chapter 5 test. This is a relatively quick test from what we are used to. For the rest of the week, we will be working on division. We will start by estimating quotients and exploring remainders.
Social Studies: In social studies, we will begin our first region of the United States: The North East. We will begin by looking at how we will be taking notes for the section and begin studying the states and capitals.
Montana History: In MT History, we will be analyzing a map on the temperature in Montana.
Spelling: Compound Words
December Dates:
December 4 - Arrowhead Barnes and Noble Night 4-8
December 7 - Toys for Tots DUE!
December 14 - Dodgeball Tournament at Orchard Elementary (NO PEAK)
